We have been busy settling in the new children and welcoming back some of our existing children. Everyone looks super smart in their uniform.

Children have adapted well, they are starting to follow routine and learn the rules of our setting. They have started to become more independent by learning the "magic coat", becoming toilet trained and feeding themselves at lunchtime. All the children are engaging in lots of activities, including starting to learn Makaton and visiting the farm situated on site. Parents have been sending us lots of wonderful pictures of activities and events that they have experienced that staff have been able to chat to the children about. 

We are excited about becoming involved in supporting Glascote Academy in gaining their Silver Leaf Award and gaining an Eco School Award, as well as visiting our friends at the Memory Cafe based at Sacred Heart Church.

A sponsored event is planned to raise funds to be able to take all of our children to visit a very special man just before Christmas. Our parents will be invited into the nursery to make Christmas decorations and our nursery will be a lovely place to be, as the children experience the run-up to Christmas with lots of stories, songs and rhymes.
