Nursery News Story
We are delighted to welcome the children back after the Christmas break, following a wonderful start to the new academic year last term.
During the Autumn Term, we focused on settling the children into the setting with lots of activities around personal and social development, wellbeing, friendships and independence, including a lovely visit to the church for festive songs and celebrations.
Parents were welcomed into the setting for a 'show and share' with their child's key worker to discuss the progress their children have made since starting in September.
This term we are broadening our learning to support new experiences with new life. The children have spotted some birds making a home in our bird box, which has sparked some lovely learning in the garden, and staff continue to follow the children's interests to develop and enhance the outdoor areas.
Looking ahead sees us having another visit to the church at Easter time and experiencing watching animal and insect lifecycles unfold in real time. I wonder where our interests will take us this term......
